Mitch Benn & The Distractions have
been on tour since the 11th September
this year, which stated at The Cornerstone
in Didcot, they played the South
Street Arts Centre, Reading on September
30th and October 1st before appearing
at The Central Studio on the 2nd
October. I had not been to an event at
Central Studio for about 16 years, and
was presently surprised at how it had
changed and they had created a more
intermit setting with blue as the colour.
Mitch came on with his Distractions
bass player Kirsty Newton, who played
keyboard as well, and a drummer playing
a modern electronic kit, which he
really did handle well, both excellent
musicians. From the introduction
through to the end of the first half, Mitch
