Travelling to and around
Christchurch could not
be simpler:
By road
The M3 and M27 provide easy access from London and
the South East, and the M40 and A34 provide good
access from the Midlands. The A35 links Southampton to
Christchurch and continues through the town to
Bournemouth, Poole and the South West.
By taxi
Taxi ranks are located outside Christchurch Rail Station,
in Bargates and in the High Street and there are other
taxi and private hire companies throughout the borough.
By coach
National Express travels from over 1,200 UK destinations
and to and from most major UK airports.
By rail
South-West Trains operate between London Waterloo,
Southampton, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and
Weymouth. Connecting regional and direct inter-city
trains operate from Bournemouth.
By air
Bournemouth Airport and Southampton Airport operate
scheduled flights to and from a variety of UK and
national airports.
By sea
Ferry services operate from Southampton and Poole to
France and from Poole to the Channel Islands. Frequent
services also operate to the Isle of Wight from
Lymington, Southampton and Portsmouth.
