Travelling to and around<br />

<strong>Christchurch</strong> could not<br />

be simpler:<br />

By road<br />

The M3 and M27 provide easy access from London and<br />

the South East, and the M40 and A34 provide good<br />

access from the Midlands. The A35 links Southampton to<br />

<strong>Christchurch</strong> and continues through the town to<br />

Bournemouth, Poole and the South West.<br />

By taxi<br />

Taxi ranks are located outside <strong>Christchurch</strong> Rail Station,<br />

in Bargates and in the High Street and there are other<br />

taxi and private hire companies throughout the borough.<br />

By coach<br />

National Express travels from over 1,200 UK destinations<br />

and to and from most major UK airports.<br />

By rail<br />

South-West Trains operate between London Waterloo,<br />

Southampton, <strong>Christchurch</strong>, Bournemouth, Poole and<br />

Weymouth. Connecting regional and direct inter-city<br />

trains operate from Bournemouth.<br />

By air<br />

Bournemouth Airport and Southampton Airport operate<br />

scheduled flights to and from a variety of UK and<br />

national airports.<br />

By sea<br />

Ferry services operate from Southampton and Poole to<br />

France and from Poole to the Channel Islands. Frequent<br />

services also operate to the Isle of Wight from<br />

Lymington, Southampton and Portsmouth.<br />
