UltraConnect UC-271G
The UltraConnect TM UC-271G is a battery-backed dual path IP & GPRS high-security communicator with
automatic PSTN fallback. Both IP and GPRS paths are independently polled to implement a standardscompliant
(AS2201.5-1992 C4S3 or C5S3) security alarm transmission system with optional video
verification capability.

The IP path uses highly encrypted messaging over a corporate IP WAN or broadband internet connection
such as ADSL, Cable Modem or Wireless (eg WiMax). The GPRS link is implemented as a secure VPN.
The unit supports a range of interfaces to intruder alarm systems, including dial-capture, parallel inputs
(PINs) and serial.

Ease of Installation
The UC-271G supports simple installation and is
configured using a touchtone phone. No IP
expertise is required. When the IP interface is
used, it supports automatic configuration, or can
be manually configured using a touchtone phone.
Compatible With Installed Equipment
Compatibility with a wide range of existing
installed alarm equipment achieved through:
• Built-in dial capture interface supporting most
security industry dialler protocols including:
ContactID, Ademco Fast, SIA and 4+2

• Four parallel inputs for connection to fire and
burglar alarm systems
Managed Dual-Path Communications
UltraConnect TM Security Communicators support
transport over GPRS and / or IP paths. This
provides the benefits of cost-effective high polling
rates (over IP) with the reliability of two fully
independent monitoring networks.

been accredited by the Victorian Security Institute
to Australian Standard AS2201.5-1992. Your
