e. Geogrids – Geogrids are artificial grids that can be installed into the slope face to<br />

provide a physical layer of protection to the slope by either being reinforced<br />

structure or slowing surface water flow. Geogrids provide structure, but are labor<br />

intensive to install. Figure 5.13 is an illustration of a vegetated geogrid.<br />

The steep angle of the slope on the megaslump currently makes it difficult to use motorized<br />

equipment on the face of the slump. Cutting back the top of the slope would provide many<br />
