Options<br />

• mxcollection -mv existcollname -from fromparentcollname -to<br />

toparentcollname [-branch sysbranch|evbranch ]<br />

This command moves an existing collection from its current parent collection to another parent<br />

collection. The -branch option lets you specify whether the new parent collection is in the<br />

<strong>Systems</strong> or Events list in the System and Event Collections panel.<br />

NOTE: You can move collections within the <strong>Systems</strong> list or the Events list, but you cannot<br />

move collections from one list to another.<br />

• mxcollection -cp existcollname -name newcollname -to toparentcollname<br />

[-branch sysbranch|evbranch ]<br />

This command copies an existing collection, renames it, and assigns it to an existing parent<br />

collection. Use -branch to specify whether the parent collection is in the <strong>Systems</strong> or Events<br />

list in the System and Event Collections panel.<br />

• mxcollection -a combo newcombocollname -syscoll systemcollname<br />

-evcoll eventcollname -parent toparentcollname [- branch<br />

sysbranch|evbranch ]<br />

This command adds a new combination collection with the specified name, system collection<br />

and event collection to an existing parent collection. You must specify an event collection that<br />

was created by attributes in the GUI. The -branch option lets you specify whether the parent<br />

collection is in the <strong>Systems</strong> or Events list in the System and Event Collections panel. If<br />

a value is not specified, the default is the system branch.<br />

Add one or more collections that are specified in a collection definition file.<br />

Add one or more members to the collections defined in the specified collection<br />

definition file.<br />

Modify one or more collection members defined in the specified collection definition<br />

file.<br />

Remove one or more collection members defined in the specified collection definition<br />

file.<br />

-d existcollname<br />

Delete the specified collection.<br />

-f filename<br />

Specify the file name and path of a collection definition file. This option is used<br />

with -a, -a mem, -m mem and -r mem.<br />

-lf existcollname<br />
