Monitor school wide genre study and vocabulary initiative: Analyze assessments for the genres to determine if students are understanding the elements and if it is building their comprehension skills Administer weekly assessments to determine students understanding of vocabulary associated with relevant subject matter Tracking students’ progress in open response using the MCAS rubric. Inform Wawecus families about their child’s progress. Specifically in ELA: our school’s focus of comprehension and writing Administration and Educators will implement strategies/techniques learned in ELL Endorsement Course in daily instruction. Daily Practices used to support sub groups: Differentiated instruction according to students needs, ELL levels, and IEP. Some strategies are but not limited to: grouping tier teaching model student goal setting monitor through formative assessments.
