20.7. Major Offenses
Students must be advised that as Lasallians, everyone
must exhibit the values that we uphold and proper decorum at
all times within or even outside the institute especially if they
are wearing their school uniform or any attire that identifies
them as students of DLSHSI.
These include but are not limited to: (see section 20.8 for
sanctions)
20.7.1. Gross Misconduct
20.7.1.1. Lewd public display of affection or acts/gestures that
offend members of the community like kissing,
embracing, petting, necking, partners in dark places
(e.g. parked vehicles at night), and other acts of
lewdness. Minimum penalty of sanction 20.8.3.
20.7.1.2. Possession of any of the following with minimum
penalty sanction 20.8.3 without prejudice to the filing
of criminal case in courts
20.7.1.2.1. Deadly weapon(s)
20.7.1.2.2. Illegal drugs
20.7.1.2.3. Pornographic material
20.7.1.3. Acts of gross disrespect, in words or in deed that
tends to insult or subject anyone to public
ridicule/contempt. Minimum penalty is sanction
20.8.3.
20.7.1.4. Acts that discredit and dishonor the good name and
reputation of DLSHSI as a malicious imputation of a
crime or defect, whether real or imaginary. Minimum
penalty is sanction 20.8.5.
20.7.1.5. Vandalism and/or destruction of DLSHSI property or
property belonging to any member of the DLSHSI
community and guests. Minimum penalty are
sanctions 20.8.1 and 20.8.5.
20.7.1.6. Gambling. Minimum penalty is sanction 20.8.3.
20.7.1.7. Reckless driving that may cause danger to persons
or properties while inside the school premises.
