1. Vision<br />
The vision of the <strong>NPA</strong> is to achieve:<br />
Justice in our society so that people can live in freedom and security<br />
2. Mission<br />
The mission of the <strong>NPA</strong> is:<br />
Guided by the Constitution, we in the <strong>National</strong> <strong>Prosecuting</strong> <strong>Authority</strong>, ensure justice for<br />
the victims of crime by prosecuting without fear, favour or prejudice, and by working with<br />
our partners and the public to solve and prevent crime.<br />
3. Values<br />
Values of the <strong>NPA</strong> are:<br />
Integrity which is displayed through ethical conduct, high moral standards, honesty,<br />
moral principles and values, no bribery or corruption – zero tolerance, keeping<br />
promises, truthfulness and being beyond reproach.<br />
Accountability which is depicted by being responsible and answerable for our<br />
actions.<br />
Service excellence which is found in providing first class customer service and<br />
complying with the Batho Pele principles.<br />
Professionalism which can be seen through commitment / dedication, punctuality,<br />
competence, and professional conduct in and out of court.<br />
Credibility which is depicted in the following behaviour: consistency and the ability to<br />
inspire belief or trust.<br />
The values are contextualised in the <strong>NPA</strong> Code of Conduct.<br />
