To amend the appointment of Elizabeth Stiles from substitute teacher to Supplemental Teacher, IHHS, BA, Step 1, $20,910 (pro-rated), effective January 22 – June 30, 2007. Salary guide placement to remain at the 2005-06 salary guide levels until such time when the 2006-07 salary guide has been approved, in accordance with the New Jersey Supreme Court Neptune Decision. P2. To amend the appointment of Monica Weisberg from long-term substitute teacher to Science Teacher, IHHS, BA, Step 1, $42,438 (pro-rated), effective December 21, 2006 – June 30, 2007. Salary guide placement to remain at the 2005-06 salary guide levels until such time when the 2006-07 salary guide has been approved, in accordance with the New Jersey Supreme Court Neptune Decision. P3. To amend the appointment of Jessie Wohlberg-Hidalgo from long-term substitute teacher to World Languages Teacher, RHS, BA, Step 1, $42,438 (pro-rated), effective December 18, 2006 – June 30, 2007. Salary guide placement to remain at the 2005-06 salary guide levels until such time when the 2006-07 salary guide has been approved, in accordance with the New Jersey Supreme Court Neptune Decision. P4. To approve the change in assignment for Dan Devine, RHS, .86 Security Aide, to .57 Security Aide, effective February 12 – June 30, 2007. P5. To approve the revised job description entitled, Information Systems Coordinator/Web/Data Integration Manager effective for the 2006-07 School Year. P6. To approve the placement of Noelle Schifferdecker as a student intern, RHS, Guidance Department, effective for the period March 1 – May 31, 2007 and September 1 – December 31, 2007. P8. To approve a family leave of absence for Susan Heerema, District, Music, effective for the period February 2 – March 12, 2007. P9. To approve the first level of longevity for Mark Aug, Custodian/Groundsperson, Ramapo High School, in the amount of $2,000 effective April 1, 2007. P10. To approve an unpaid medical leave of absence for Dana Kissack, RHS, Custodian, effective for the period January 8 - February 16, 2007. P11. That as recommended by the superintendent of schools, the following persons be appointed as athletic coaches, with compensation noted, subject to all federal, state, county and local regulations, governing said employment; and further that the president and secretary, as proper officers of the Board of Education, be authorized and directed to issue the proper contracts for the 2006-07 school year; and move to approve application for emergency hiring and applicant’s attestation that he/she has not been convicted of any disqualifying crime pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A:6-7.1 et seq., N.J.S.A. 18A:39-17 et seq., or N.J.S.A. 18A:6-4.13 et seq. To accept the retirement, with regret, effective July 1, 2007 as follows: WHEREAS, Leo Donnelly has dedicated himself to the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District for forty years as a Math Teacher, Golf Coach, and Assistant Boys’ Soccer Coach; displaying an unselfish commitment to our children; exemplifying the ideals of professionalism and the standard of excellence, and WHEREAS, the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District Board of Education, together with its citizens, wishes to acknowledge exemplary service that Leo Donnelly has provided our children, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District Board of Education does hereby extend its appreciation and gratitude to Leo Donnelly in recognition of his exemplary service to our school district.
