1 Minimum Limits of Insurance
2 Contractor shall maintain no less than:
3 1. General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury,
4 personal injury and property damage. The general aggregate limit shall apply
5 separately to this project/location. Defense costs shall be paid in addition to the limits.
6 The policy shall not contain any endorsements or provisions limiting coverage for (1)
7 products and completed operations; (2) contractual liability; (3) third party action over
8 claims; or (4) cross liability exclusion for claims or suits by one insured against
9 another.
10 2. Automobile Liability: $1,000,000 per accident for bodily injury and
11 property damage
12 3. Employer’s Liability: $1,000,000 per accident for bodily injury or
13 disease.
14 4. Professional Liability: Errors and omissions with minimum limits of
15 $1,000,000. If coverage is written on a claims-made basis, the retroactive date shall
16 precede the effective date of the initial Agreement and continuous coverage will be
17 maintained or an extended reporting period will be exercised for a period of at least
18 three (3) years from termination or expiration of this Agreement.
19 Deductibles and Self-Insured Retentions
20 Any deductibles or self-insured retentions must be declared to and approved by
21 the City. At the option of the City, either: the insurer shall reduce or eliminate such
22 deductibles or self-insured retentions as respects the City, and its officers, officials,
23 employees and volunteers; or the Lessee shall provide a financial guarantee
24 satisfactory to the City guaranteeing payment of losses and related investigations,
25 claims administration and defense expenses.
26 Other Insurance Provisions
27 The general liability and automobile liability policies are to contain, or be
28 endorsed to contain, the following provisions:
