was a member <strong>of</strong> the ANZCA Council from 2006 until his resignation<br />

Council Election<br />
In accordance with the provisions <strong>of</strong> the Constitution<br />
nominations were called for four vacancies on Council.<br />
Six nominations were received. St<strong>and</strong>ing Councillors Dr<br />
Leona Wilson, Dr Frank Moloney <strong>and</strong> Dr Richard Waldron<br />
were re-elected, <strong>and</strong> Dr Michelle Mulligan (NSW) was<br />
elected for a period <strong>of</strong> three years.<br />
Dr Margaret Cowling resigned from Council in March <strong>2009</strong><br />
after five years <strong>of</strong> service. Dr Richard Waldron resigned<br />
from Council in August <strong>2009</strong> after three years <strong>of</strong> service.<br />
Dr Peter Cook resigned from Council in October <strong>2009</strong><br />
after two <strong>and</strong> a half years <strong>of</strong> service.<br />
Co-option to Council<br />
As a result <strong>of</strong> the resignations <strong>of</strong> Dr Margaret Cowling,<br />
Dr Peter Cook <strong>and</strong> Dr Richard Waldron, Dr Rodney Mitchell<br />
(SA), Dr Patrick Farrell (NSW), <strong>and</strong> Dr Mark Reeves (TAS)<br />
were co-opted to Council to fill the casual vacancies for<br />
the period to May 2010.<br />
<strong>New</strong> Fellow On Council<br />
Dr Nicole Phillips (NSW) is the current elected <strong>New</strong> Fellow<br />
on Council for the period to May 2010.<br />
