LESSON 2.2: TERM LIMITS<br />
LESSON OVERVIEW<br />
This lesson examines term limits as a policy<br />
that either supports or obstructs government<br />
“…for the people, of the people, and by the<br />
people.” First, participants discuss the pros<br />
and cons of the AmeriCorps provisions as they<br />
relate to AmeriCorps term of service members.<br />
Then, they determine whether a hypothetical<br />
amendment favoring term limits should<br />
be added to the Constitution.<br />

Participants will develop an appreciation of how<br />
citizens put government leaders in place by examining<br />
the complexity of term limits.<br />
