Please Read Before Registration<br />
The <strong>Louisville</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> <strong>Center</strong> provides a variety <strong>of</strong> children’s<br />
enrichment programs designed to stimulate your child’s social,<br />
physical and cognitive skills. Programs are designed with specific<br />
age groups in mind to provide the best in program quality.<br />
Please make certain your child is the specified age required for<br />
a program by the first day <strong>of</strong> class. Children will be canceled<br />
from a class roster if they do not meet age requirements.<br />
Parents should not remain in the classroom unless otherwise<br />
noted. Siblings cannot remain in the classroom unless they are<br />
registered and meet age requirements.<br />
You may register for more than 1 session at a time.<br />
Refund Policy Classes cancelled for low enrollment will be<br />
given a full refund or credit. No refunds or credits for a cancellation<br />
made less than 7 days before the start <strong>of</strong> class. $5.00 service<br />
charge per class for check refunds. $5.00 service charge<br />
per class for household credits. Refunds over $20.00 can be<br />
processed as a check. Please call or read the special policies for<br />
specific cancellation policy for Building Blocks, Stepping Stones<br />
and Summer Adventure Day Camp.<br />
All children must be signed in and out <strong>of</strong> our programs by a parent<br />
or designated adult caregiver.<br />
Class maximums are determined to provide your child with the<br />
best possible teacher/student ratio.<br />
Read through your catalog carefully to choose the best options<br />
for your child/children. Choose alternative options in case your<br />
first choice is full.<br />
If a class is full, parents may add their child to the waiting list.<br />
Wait-listed children will be notified as spots become available.<br />
Note the specific times for the classes for which your children<br />
are registered. Children need to be dropped <strong>of</strong>f and picked up<br />
at the specified class times. (You will be assigned a late fee if<br />
your child is not picked up by the designated time).<br />
Children should be appropriately dressed for play activities.<br />
“Play clothes” and close-toed shoes (sneakers) are ideal for<br />
our active enrichment programs. Paint shirts or smocks may be<br />
brought by parents for use during creative, hands-on activities.<br />

Youth Activities<br />
Twoodles (Age 2+ by 9/30/09)<br />
This is the ideal class for any 2 year old ready to explore on their<br />
own! The class <strong>of</strong>fers a variety <strong>of</strong> materials and activities giving<br />
children an opportunity to assert their budding independence<br />
by making choices based on interest. Inherent in this setting is<br />
the opportunity to develop and practice social skills in a supportive<br />
and nurturing atmosphere. Circle time for stories, singing,<br />
dancing, and sharing enhance the fun and learning! Parents must<br />
remain in the facility during class, but not in the classroom.<br />
