Flu Shot Clinics<br />
Protect yourself against the flu this winter. Flu shot clinics will be<br />
held at the <strong>Louisville</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Center</strong> on Friday Oct. 2, 2009 from<br />
8:00am-12:00 noon; and on Monday Oct. 5 from 8:00am-12:00.<br />
If you are on Medicare, the cost will be covered by Medicare.<br />
Private pay is $26.00. Pneumonia shots will also be available.<br />

Lifeline Screening<br />
75% <strong>of</strong> all strokes can be prevented! Lifeline Screening will be<br />
at the <strong>Louisville</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Center</strong> on Friday October 13 from 8:00<br />
a.m. to 5:00 pm Ultrasound and Doppler equipment will be used<br />
to screen: Carotid Arteries, the Abdominal Aortic Artery, arteries<br />
in the legs for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), Atrial Fibrillation,<br />
Complete Lipid Panel, Glucose and C-Reactive Protein, Osteoporosis.<br />
Sample prices are: 3 vascular tests $149, 3 blood tests,<br />
$99, all 8 tests for $299. (A savings <strong>of</strong> $131.00 from individual<br />

the Alzheimer’s Association and other caregivers who care for<br />

You will learn how to manage your diabetes, how to eat and stay<br />
healthy and new ideas about nutrition you never knew before.<br />
