NJ 1847 PROJECT :<br />
Resbonce to the preliminery listing that appeared in the last issue<br />
of the Journal has been very encouraging. Corrections and additional<br />
data including illustrations have recently been received for 33 of the<br />
listings; along with 13.entirely new listings including illustrations<br />
and data, including two previously- unrecorded towns: Morristown and_<br />
<strong>Jersey</strong> City. If you have any #1 • or #2 covers with <strong>New</strong> <strong>Jersey</strong> postmarks<br />
or know of someone who does, or see any either on exhibit or available<br />
for sale anywhere, please notify the project co-ordinator along with<br />
as much data as possible, including Xeroks of the covers if available<br />
or auction' catalog cut-outs, etc. We appear to te making excellent<br />
progress on this project, and now strenuiously appeal to all members<br />
and friends to assist us in locateing the remaining material so that<br />
