The registered stamp bill and the Postage Stamp Agency motice were both<br />

found inside the large Agency envelope.<br />

If the stamps in the original envelope were the 1869 issue, rather than<br />

the banknotes, they would be worth about a quarter million dollars today!<br />

Several sharp-eyed members picked up the reason that there wasn't an<br />

East Orange before there was an East Orange (see last issue) was because<br />

the cover illustrated originated in East Orange, Vermont, not <strong>New</strong> <strong>Jersey</strong>.<br />
