What's new in 2015<br />
• Learn to Ride/Ski – Now allows access on Day 1 not only to the<br />
purpose built beginners area at Friday Flat, but also to the Cruiser<br />
and Merritts area. Opening up more intermediate terrain for that first<br />
day of learning how to ride. From Day 2 onwards passes give full<br />
mountain access.<br />
• The Thredboland Riglets Program - 3-6 year olds can finally learn<br />
how to snowboard. This new program is designed to give kids their<br />
first snowboarding experience in a fun and friendly environment.<br />
The program uses Burton’s specialised Riglets snowboards,<br />
which are specifically designed for these young first time students.<br />

Kids Ski Free when skiing or boarding for 3 or 5 days from 6-26 June<br />
& 31 August - 5 October. Child (5-17 years) lift only pass free of charge<br />
when corresponding adult pays for a lift or lift & lesson pass. Free Equipment<br />
Rental for each child accompanied by an adult who has pre-purchased a<br />
lift/lift & lesson rental bundle.<br />
RESORT ACTIVITIES – Don’t Ski or Board…Don’t Worry<br />
Enjoy a walk around the village or a visit to Eagles Nest – Australia’s<br />
highest restaurant and bar. Or a visit to the Thredbo Leisure Centre<br />
which is activity central with indoor pools, waterslide and Mission<br />
Inflatable, a 15 metre floating pool obstacle course and the Torpedo<br />
Topple, sports hall, table tennis, climbing wall and squash court. Or<br />
relax with an afternoon drink at one of the many bars around the village.<br />
Or for the kids or kids at heart, head to Thredbo’s free snow play area<br />
for some tobogganing and tubing.<br />
