QIPCO British Champions Series Ambassadors
Leading jockey and racing celebrity Frankie Dettori has again been an ambassador for the
QIPCO British Champions Series. He rode five winners in the inaugural Series last year,
bettered only by Tom Queally with six, and while he has so far ridden only one winner this year
(Colour Vision in the Gold Cup), his five seconds and three third places have helped him to a
total of 85 points to put him fourth in the Jockey of the Series table.
This year Frankie has been joined by Britain’s leading female rider, Hayley Turner, who has also
had an ambassadorial role. Hayley rode two Series winners last year, the first two Group 1
victories of her burgeoning career.
