Victoria Accommodation & Sightseeing
Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites
Inn at Laurel Point
Fairmont Empress Hotel
This is a great place to stay in an excellent
location in the heart of downtown Victoria. You are
close to the inner harbour and only five minutes
walk to parliament buildings and great shopping.
After a day of exploring you’ll be grateful to relax
back in the heated indoor swimming pool and
whirlpool. On-site, ‘Vista 18’ is Victoria’s only
rooftop restaurant and lounge where you can
dine on organic, local produce while admiring
magnificent views of the mountains, inner
harbour and ocean.
Located on a six acre peninsular on Victoria
Harbour you feel like you are a world away, but
in fact you are only a 10 minute stroll to the
Royal British Columbia Museum and shops of
downtown Victoria. Views of the ocean follow
you from check-in to your hotel room, plus the
Japanese gardens and chef’s own herb garden
provide a variety of tranquil spots to relax in.
Reminisce on the grandeur of a bygone era
and treat yourself to ‘Afternoon Tea’ in the
elegantly restored Tea Lobby. Whether you
arrive by floatplane or coach, you cannot miss
this landmark hotel with turn of the century
architecture overlooking Victoria Harbour. You
ferry terminal where your coach boards the BC
eat while you relax back and enjoy the view of the
gulf islands. Then reboard the coach and transfer
Over 50 acres of blossoms and fragrance await
you at the enchanting Butchart Gardens. You’ll
stroll through themed gardens linked by spacious
lawns, streams and lily ponds. The gardens were
established in 1904 and are in the style of the
grand estates of the period, retaining the original
design and producing outstanding floral displays.
trip of 50 to 80 kilometres in search of orcas,
minke whales, gray whales, porpoises, harbour
seals and other marine wildlife. Choose between
a custom-built high speed Zodiac or a covered
