US Patent No: 6720006
Anti-microbial body care product
An anti-microbial body care product comprising in the part contacting the human or animal skin
and/or mucosa and organic matrix containing homogeneously dispersed particles of a metallic
silver having a particle size in the range of 1 to 50 nm (silver nanoparticles) in an amount providing
on the surface of said part and anti-microbially effective but less than cytotoxic silver
concentration. Preferred body care products are disposable absorbent articles, toothbrushes,
cosmetic products and baby comforting products.
US Patent No: 6733614
Process for forming thermal conductive sheet
A thermal conductive sheet with conductive foil is obtained by press bonding a magnetic foil to a
thermal conductive layer via a primer layer. Since the primer layer contains a thermal conductive
filler, it has high thermal conductivity and does not interrupt thermal conduction from the thermal
conductive layer to the magnetic foil. It also spontaneously destroys a skin layer on the surface of
the thermal conductive layer upon the press bonding. Accordingly, the thermal conductive sheet
with conductive foil of the present invention improves thermal conduction from the thermal
conductive layer to the conductive foil, eliminating the unfavorable effects of the skin layer and the
primer layer, and thus improves heat radiation of the thermal conductive sheet with conductive foil.
US Patent No: 6740313
Compositions for giving the skin a coloration similar to that of a natural tan, based on a pigment of the
monascus type, and uses thereof
A cosmetic and/or dermatological composition that produces on the skin a long-lasting and noncovering
coloration similar to that of a natural tan comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable
medium, at least one pigment, which may be obtained by extraction with an organic or aqueousorganic
solvent of a culture medium of micromycetes of the Monascus type, as well as the use of
the composition for giving the skin a long-lasting and non-covering coloration similar to that of
naturally tanned skin.
