CONFERENCE
New UKWA conference
for warehouse owners
and managers announced
UKWA is pleased to
announce that it is joining
forces with professional
conference organiser
Gyros Communications
to launch Warehousing
Futures 2008 - a new
conference, exhibition and
networking event for
warehouse owners and
managers.
Warehousing Futures
2008 will take place at
the Hilton Hotel near
Coventry, Junction 2 of the
M6, on Tuesday 9
September and
Wednesday 10 September
2008. Full speaker
details will be released in
due course, but the event
will start with a networking
reception followed by dinner
(plus after dinner
speaker) on the evening of
9 September. The following
morning there will be
a keynote address followed
by a series of plenary
sessions covering key
strategic issues: people/
skills issues; effective
materials handling solutions;
developing ‘green’
warehouse projects;
financing major warehouse
projects; improving
the efficiency of ware-

house operations through
information technology.
Over lunch delegates
will have time to visit the
exhibition and network
with other delegates and
sponsors. In the afternoon
there will be three
sessions covering practical
warehouse management
issues: latest legislation;
security; health and safety.
