Symposia – Conference Programs
Krakow, Poland
5 th Annual Symposium Of Central European Implant Academy
Patient Driven Decisions in Implant Dentistry: Improvements in the Treatment Options for Implant Patients
Within a team-based format of interaction, live taped cases and lecture, Dr. Meltzer and Dr. Baumgarten will discuss the paradigm
shift of Implant Dentistry to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and acceptance of implant therapy.
Important drivers of decisionmaking in today’s competitive landscape of implant dentistry have to include the ability of
clinicians to provide accelerated treatment plans including less patient chair time, higher levels of aesthetic outcomes and the
highest success rates in terms of implant survival and maintained hard and soft tissue levels. Using extensive case
presentations and live taped surgeries, the pair will narrate and cover treatment strategies, clinical protocols and technical
resources available to satisfy all the demands of successfully incorporating implant therapy into a practice.
Participants will become more familiar with:
•The changes to demands placed on dental implant therapy and how this affects the evolution of dental implant designs
and placement protocols
•CT guided surgery and planning
•The clinical methodology of high insertion torque placement protocols and the impact of initial and maintained stability in
implant survival
•CAD-CAM restorative solutions that provide patient specific components
•Restorative advances that make in-office temporization accurate, reliable and time efficient
•Indicators for rapid or traditional treatment planning options
