e. Recommended employment of Mark Koontz as a Home Instruction<br />

Teacher, pending completion of all necessary requirements, including<br />

certification/licensure, at the home instruction teacher rate of $21.98<br />

per hour, effective March 27, <strong>2009</strong>.<br />

f. Recommended approval of one (1) <strong>Greenville</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> Auto<br />

Technician Student Apprenticeship with the <strong>Greenville</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Schools</strong><br />

Transportation Department for the summer of <strong>2009</strong> and the school year<br />

<strong>2009</strong>‐2010. The apprentice will work a maximum of 24 hours a week<br />

during the summer months at a rate of $7.00 per hour. During the<br />

school year the apprentice will work a minimum of 5 hours a week and<br />

maximum of 10 hours a week. The rate of pay will increase to $7.25 per<br />

hour. The student will agree to participate in the tool scholarship<br />

program at a cost of $1,432.77 to paid by the district with the apprentice<br />

reimbursing the district $1,000 through payroll deduction. The<br />

remaining balance will be the responsibility of the district.<br />

3. SALARY INCREASE<br />

Recommended the following individual be approved for a change in salary<br />

classification having met terms as stated in the Master Agreement dated<br />

June 30, 2008. Change in salary will be reflected in the <strong>2009</strong>‐2010 contract<br />

to be issued:<br />

a. Recommended approval of tuition reimbursement for the following<br />
