Medications & Prescriptions<br />
2. Once you are registered in the web site, you may request your <strong>VA</strong> prescription refills by<br />
logging in to your account and clicking on “PHARMACY” then “RX REFILL” then<br />
“Refill Prescriptions.”<br />
3. Using the active prescription number(s), check the boxes on the right <strong>for</strong> the medications<br />
that you want refilled. Click the red “SUBMIT REFILLS” button at the bottom of the<br />
screen. Review your online prescription list to be sure that your request was approved.<br />
To Request Refills by Telephone – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, using the Automated Refill System<br />
To request your prescription refills by using your touch-tone telephone:<br />
1. Call 717-272-6621 or 800-409-8771<br />
2. Press 3 <strong>for</strong> medication or pharmacy needs.<br />
3. Press 1 to access the automated refill line.<br />
4. When prompted, enter your full Social Security number followed by the # button on your<br />
telephone.<br />
5. Press 2 <strong>for</strong> pharmacy prescription options.<br />
• Press 1 <strong>for</strong> refills, then,<br />
→ Enter your seven-digit prescription number, followed by the # button.<br />
(If your prescription number has a letter in it, DO NOT enter the letter.)<br />
You may also. . .<br />
• Press 2 to check the status of your prescription, then,<br />
→Enter your seven digit prescription number, followed by the # button.<br />
(If your prescription number has a letter in it, DO NOT enter the letter.)<br />
• Press 3 <strong>for</strong> medication in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
• Press 8 to speak to a pharmacy representative if you have questions about your<br />
prescription than cannot be answered using any of the above options.<br />
If you get a message that the prescription number does not match the Social Security<br />
number, press 8 to speak to Pharmacy staff.<br />
6. You may enter as many prescription numbers as you need to reorder in the same phone<br />
call.<br />
Allow at least 10 days <strong>for</strong> delivery.<br />
