<strong>THE</strong> COOKERY AND HEALTHY LIVING MODULE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WITH<br />
CEA@ISLINGTON’S COOKERY CONSULTANT, WITH <strong>THE</strong> INVOLVEMENT OF<br />
ROB FAGG, <strong>THE</strong> <strong>ARSENAL</strong> TRAINING GROUND CHEF. IT INVOLVES <strong>THE</strong><br />
STUDENTS BEING TAUGHT HOW TO PREPARE AND COOK BASIC HEALTHY FOOD.<br />
Lessons in the module look at nutrition, food safety and hygiene, the eatwell<br />
plate, energy and sports nutrition, fluids and breakfast, food labelling and<br />
cooking at home.<br />
Some of the lessons require cooking facilities, whilst others can use normal<br />
classrooms and tablecloths for the preparation of healthy salads and sandwiches.
