EL111 CLINICAL CONSULTATION
(5 Hours)
Students will learn to gather the patient’s information including their clinical history to better determine the course of treatment; explaining to the patient the
procedure and real expectations of treatment. Students will also learn how to conduct a complete Health History Assessment to ensure they have the necessary
documentation for every client in the practice.
EL112 CLINICAL APPLICATIONS
(200 Hours/Services)
Students will perform all the clinical applications, which consist of hands-on and practical training in the techniques relating to the practice of Electrolysis for
the following services:
• Coordination Skills with Probe Holder and Forceps (5 Hours)
• Insertions (15 Hours)
• Sanitation/Sterilization Procedures (10 Hours)
• Hands-on Equipment Instruction – Electrolysis (5 Hours)
• Hands-on Equipment Instruction – Thermolysis (5 Hours)
• Hands-on Equipment Instruction – Blend (5 Hours)
• Client Pre/Post Treatment (5 Hours)
• Client Assessment (10 Hours)
• General Treatment Procedures (105 Hours)
• Consultations (15 Hours)
• Visuals/Library (10 Hours)
• Review/Exams Preparation (10 Hours)
EL113 HIV/AIDS
(10 Hours)
Education on transmission, control, treatment and prevention of HIV and AIDS; discussion of attitudes and behavior in dealing with individuals who may have the
virus and syndrome; the blood-borne pathogens with emphasis on hepatitis (all types).
All hours and services are those required by the Florida Department of Health (DOH).
Note: All programs are taught in a cycle. Students are able to start at any point of the cycle and still fulfill all program requirements.

EQUIPMENT / MATERIALS
Students will receive a uniform, an equipment bag, and an electrolysis kit with all the necessary instruments and materials to perform the required services.
GRADUATION
After a student completes 320 hours, services, exams and fulfills all financial obligations to the school, a diploma will be awarded.
COMPLETION TIME
Completion time depends on the number of hours the student attends weekly. Based on a 25 hour per week schedule, the normal time frame of completion would
be 3 months.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Tuition and fee payments may be arranged on a weekly or monthly basis. The first payment is due on the first day of class, and on the same day of every week
or month thereafter.
