At the second meeting, the new members were initiated into the society. The club pledge was taken by each new member after which followed a wiener roast and picnic lunch around a bon-fire. Just before the holidays, the society invited the four other literary societies of the school to a Christmas Tableau presented in the auditorium. It has been the aim of the society this year to have a strong membership and to give special programs. SOCIETY SONG We're here for fun right from the start, Pray drop your dignity; Just laugh and sing with all your heart, And show your loyalty. May other meetings be forgot, Let this one be the best, Join in the song we sing today, Be happy with the rest, Sixty-two
