5. Simulations<br />

System simulation reports provide <strong>in</strong>formation about system and plant operation and energy<br />

use dur<strong>in</strong>g a typical year (see append F, G, H, I).<br />

6. Results<br />

The simulation results and benchmark<strong>in</strong>g were made only for cool<strong>in</strong>g (this is a Carrier<br />

Developed Program). The results are described for each component:<br />

Supply Fan:<br />

• CAV (Constant Air Volume); Floor Air Supply: 2403,5 €/year;<br />

• CAV (Constant Air Volume); Ceil<strong>in</strong>g Air Supply: 1998,6 €/year (16,85 % less);<br />

• VAV (Variable Air Volume); Floor Air Supply: 261,1 €/year (89,14 % less);<br />

• VAV (Variable Air Volume); Ceil<strong>in</strong>g Air Supply: 213,1 €/year (91,13 % less);<br />

Chiller Plant:<br />

• CAV (Constant Air Volume); Floor Air Supply: 684,8 €/year;<br />

• VAV (Variable Air Volume); Ceil<strong>in</strong>g Air Supply: 423,5 €/year (38,16 % less);<br />

• CAV (Constant Air Volume); Ceil<strong>in</strong>g Air Supply: 415,1 €/year (39,38 % less);<br />

• VAV (Variable Air Volume); Floor Air Supply: 333,3 €/year (51,33 % less);<br />

F<strong>in</strong>al Results:<br />

• CAV (Constant Air Volume); Floor Air Supply: 3088,3 €/year;<br />

• CAV (Constant Air Volume); Ceil<strong>in</strong>g Air Supply: 2413,7 €/year (21,84 % less);<br />

• VAV (Variable Air Volume); Ceil<strong>in</strong>g Air Supply: 636,6 €/year (79,39 % less);<br />

• VAV (Variable Air Volume); Floor Air Supply: 594,4 €/year (80,75 % less);<br />
