When determining which strategy would yield an increase in local employment, the combined group<br />
of stakeholder scored the following two <strong>strategies</strong> scored above 3, viz.:<br />
• Dry sanitation systems;<br />
• Education programmes.<br />
The DWAF officials considered the other <strong>strategies</strong> listed in the table as also being strong c<strong>and</strong>idates<br />
to increase local employment. None of the <strong>strategies</strong> st<strong>and</strong> out as having negative impact on local<br />
employment. All the <strong>strategies</strong> would have a positive impact on the local employment.<br />
