Veteran’s Day<br />
Every year the United States celebrates Veteran’s<br />
Day on November 11 th to honor the men and<br />
women that defended our nation in battle.<br />
The Veterans Day National Ceremony is<br />
celebrated on Veteran’s Day at the Arlington National<br />
Cemetery. The ceremony commences at precisely<br />
10:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb<br />
of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial<br />
Amphitheatre with a parade of colors to honor veterans.<br />
The ceremony is intended to honor and thank<br />
everyone who served in the United States Armed<br />
Forces.<br />
Other cemeteries around the United States<br />
also celebrate Veteran’s Day by holding ceremonies<br />
and flag raisings.<br />
