DISTRICT REGISTRATION FEES
Due December 14, 2012
$100 per Team
$30 per Student.
STATE FINALS REGISTRATION FEES
Due Friday, March 11, 2013
$300 per Team
$30 per Student
- each team can have a maximum of 15 students
- teams provide their own housing, transportation, and most meals
LATE POLICY
Teams whose fees are postmarked after the deadlines will be charged an
additional $25.
Fees postmarked more than 30 days after deadlines will be charged an additional
$25 (for a total of $50 in late fees).
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATIONS
At the Y everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to pay. Financial Assistance
is available through the state office. YMCA Youth & Government follows the financial
need criteria of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the HUD guidelines for King
County in order to ensure a fair distribution of money to students. All individual
Mock Trial participants are eligible to apply for these funds. Money is distributed
based on family’s financial situation. If you have any questions about this process

REFUND POLICY
District and State Finals Registration Fees
There are no refunds or credits on District or State registration fees.
REGISTRATION COSTS
Student and team registration fees may be shared between schools or obtained
from student body associations, individual students, donations from local bar
associations, service groups and fund-raising projects.
*We advise that students pay some portion of the student fee. Past experience
shows that if they pay for the exceptional training they receive through this
program, they will have more ownership in attending practice and preparing. Some
schools ask local attorneys or their local bar to sponsor some portion of the
participation fee as well.
