Our company has experienced many changes in the last year. Although many of the recent changes
have been challenging, it is important for us to reflect on where we’ve been, where we’re going,
and who helped us accomplish so much.
It is you, our employees, who make this company successful. We want to feel proud—whether we’re
talking to our families, friends or neighbors—that we’re part of a company that demonstrates people
matter. That’s what the Chairman’s Award is about—celebrating employees who contribute to the
success of our business while living the company’s values and guiding behaviors.
Some people have suggested we postpone this year’s Awards program to save money. But I
believe now, more than ever, is a time for us to celebrate our employees. I’m excited about the
2013 Chairman’s Award and I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into making this program
a success!
