Chairman’s Award Communications Liaison Role:
1. Work with your Program Director and Org Unit Leadership on the communication needs for your
team.
2. Plan to communicate the overall program and nominations schedule with your Org Unit
employees – targeting three main deadlines – beginning, middle and end of the nomination
window.
3. Your Program Director may ask you to review your finalists’ entries, identify where those entries
need to be expanded and provide writing support to enhance possible information gaps.
Depending on the number of entries received, you may need additional help from your team.
4. Publicize your finalists through localized communications and events.
5. Once the finalists are announced, you will be asked to assist the Inside Edison and awards event
team with writing/editing your winners’ information.
General Tips:
Plan ahead and allow enough time to complete the Org Unit finalists judging process.
Consider diversity and representation across different job levels and categories (both represented
and non‐represented, field and frontline) in your selection. Our goal is to have strong participation
that represents the full breadth of our employee base.
