CONCLUSIONS<br />
Nitrogen <str<strong>on</strong>g>fertilizer</str<strong>on</strong>g> increase <strong>herb</strong> fresh yield <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> essential oil producti<strong>on</strong> under well-watered c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>s<br />
at 80% available soil moisture, also under moderate-watered c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>s at 60% available soil moisture<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> under water deficit c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>s at 40% available soil moisture. Increasing irrigati<strong>on</strong> levels increased<br />
the producti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> oregano <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the optimum irrigati<strong>on</strong> levels for the highest yields <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> fresh <strong>herb</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
essential oil was 80% available soil moisture. Supplying plants with a water level <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> 80% available soil<br />
moisture <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> with 1.2 g N pot -1 (I-80%+ N3) gave the best result in case <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>herb</strong> fresh yield <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
essential oil producti<strong>on</strong>.<br />
