Life is becoming more and more stressful. The hustle and bustle<br />
of city living, our 9-5 jobs and trying to find the family/work life<br />
balance, financial insecurity, and even divorce are all stressful<br />
situations that 21st century women have to deal with. We all<br />
need to find a way to relax, lower our stress levels and generally<br />
improve our mood.<br />
Talking to a counsellor is a traditional way of reducing your<br />
stress levels, dealing with any issues you may have or even to<br />
improving your mood. Despite being a social taboo that has a<br />
certain stigma attached, seeing a counsellor is not something<br />
you should feel ashamed of. It has been suggested that<br />
although we’re good at seeking out and speaking openly about<br />
physical issues, women in Britain are less likely to do the same<br />
when it comes to mental health problems – this shouldn’t be the<br />
case, especially in the 21st century.<br />
Counselling is becoming more and more popular as a form of<br />
therapy and is, for most, better than medication. However, there<br />
are other alternatives that you could consider…<br />

state of heightened awareness’. This leaves your mind open<br />
to ‘beneficial suggestions’ so you can make ‘positive changes<br />
in your life’. Hypnotherapy has proven to be helpful in helping<br />
people to remember the details of a traumatic event, such<br />
as a robbery or car accident. It has even proved helpful in<br />
remembering the details of past lives. Hypnotherapy can<br />
improve your life for the better, even affecting the way you feel<br />
about yourself and the world around you. Not only that but it<br />
can also help you overcome your fears or rid you of bad habits,<br />
such as smoking or over eating!<br />
Reiki’s natural healing energy works on every level, not just the<br />
physical, and promotes the body’s regenerative self-healing<br />
ability. In Japanese, the word Reiki means ‘Universal Energy’.<br />
Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this<br />
energy, which flows through all living things. Reiki is a deep fully<br />
relaxing and blissful treatment that not only heals but cleanses<br />
and purifies. It also not only relieves stress but re-energises your<br />
whole body, improving your state of mind.<br />
Finally, Reflexology involves a method of treatment using<br />
massage to reflex areas found in the feet and the hands. There<br />
are reflex areas corresponding to all the parts of the body within<br />
the feet and these areas are arranged in such a way that they<br />
form a map of the body, with the right foot corresponding to<br />
the right side of the body and the left foot corresponding to the<br />
left side of the body. By having the whole body represented in<br />
the feet, Reflexology offers a means of treating the body as a<br />
whole.<br />

From work-related stress to redundancy, relationship issues<br />

Frances first became interested in spiritual healing in the late<br />
1990s, she explains: “Up until that point I had lived a more<br />
material life, but I received some healing following a trauma<br />
and it really turned me around and made me realise what was<br />
important. After receiving my healing I really wanted to give<br />
something back and so became a spiritual healer myself.”<br />
From her Derbyshire home, Frances has spent many years<br />
developing her gift and is now able to help others and provide<br />
them with guidance. Frances says: “I have a spirit guide who<br />
has been with me for nearly 11 years now and he provides the<br />
information that can help them. Clients can ask for guidance<br />
in different areas and my guide will provide them with the<br />
answers they need, it can be day-to-day things or more<br />
complex issues.”<br />
There are many different issues that can affect our physical<br />
and emotional wellbeing, and in turn affect our day-to-day<br />
lives. Frances adds: “The mind, body and spirit all need to<br />
be in balance and when we’re well balanced we can achieve<br />
much more.”<br />
Frances is able to offer individuals a highly personal spiritual<br />
reading that is designed to empower you and improve the<br />
aspects of your life where you need help, these can be done<br />
either in person or through the post. Frances explains: “My<br />
clients can come to me with any questions, these can be<br />
about relationships, whether they should persevere or walk<br />
away, or they can be connected to moving house or taking a<br />
new job. My spirit guide will give them direct answers and let<br />
them know whether now is the right time to be making this<br />
decision, it helps people to see more clearly.”<br />
Every reading of spiritual guidance is recorded onto a CD for<br />
clients to take away with them and Frances also provides<br />
written details of your own personal guides. These may come<br />
in the form of family members or people who have been close<br />
to us, who will work with us to develop the qualities needed<br />
to negotiate our way through the problems and issues we<br />
face. Frances explains: “We don’t call on our guides enough<br />
and instead of using logic we need to work with our feelings<br />
and learn how to balance our thinking.”<br />
The spiritual guidance and healing doesn’t stop once the<br />
session is over, as Frances explains: “Following the guidance,<br />
I put people on my healing list and use healing prayers each<br />
day to help them. This can help an individual to get rid of<br />
the emotional rubbish in their life and move on. We have to<br />
understand how important it is to let go because we cannot<br />
change the past, we can only change the present and the<br />
future. Therefore, having negative thoughts and emotions<br />
connected to the past really doesn’t do us any good.”<br />
Frances also runs courses and works with individuals from<br />
all walks of life to increase their own personal awareness<br />
and to help themselves. She has previously travelled around<br />
the Midlands to deliver these courses and has even been as<br />
far as Norwich, Newcastle, Somerset and Liverpool to teach<br />
others how to change their lives. Frances adds: “It can be<br />
really life changing if you allow it to be and you can gain a<br />
lot of empowerment from it. If you allow yourself to see<br />
differently, the spirit help can open up a whole new world of<br />
opportunities for you and guide you through the challenges<br />
you face.”<br />
Frances is happy to travel to you to do a home reading<br />
of spiritual guidance, but is only able to travel outside of<br />
Derbyshire for groups of four or more people. If there are six<br />
or more people then the host or hostess will receive their<br />
reading for free.<br />
Frances adds: “You can create a better life for yourself and for<br />
others and gain a lot of fulfilment. My life has never been so<br />
rewarding and I’ve never felt so good and that’s what I want<br />
