Barbeque Party! This 30 year old tradition features<br />
the AMP Halcyon Steel Orchestra who set the pace<br />
from 4.00pm. The sweet pulsat<strong>in</strong>g rhythms of pan accompany<br />
mouth-water<strong>in</strong>g smells of barbecue. Spectacular<br />
sunsets are standard party fare, as are exotic<br />
dr<strong>in</strong>ks and danc<strong>in</strong>g under the stars. At 7.00pm, the<br />
enterta<strong>in</strong>ment changes and some of the island’s<br />
f<strong>in</strong>est party bands are featured until 10.00pm. This is<br />
a wonderful mix of tourists and islanders. From time<br />
to time, rub shoulders with a celebrity or two, who<br />
have come to experience firsthand, the much recommended<br />
food, dr<strong>in</strong>k music and revelry. Our Thursday<br />

Sugar Club is the clubhouse for Sugar Ridge. The piano<br />
lounge bar enterta<strong>in</strong>s residents, members and guests<br />
with jazz pianists, vocalists or bands several nights each<br />
week <strong>in</strong> <strong>Antigua</strong>’s most stylish sett<strong>in</strong>g. On the weekend,<br />
they are jo<strong>in</strong>ed by the fashionable local crowd to dance<br />
