The HERZ-DE LUXE Substation<br />
Compact substation for radiator heating and drinking water systems, utilising<br />
a countercurrent heat exchanger made of stainless steel. In standby mode a<br />
temperature regulated bypass guarantees available primary fl ow at the heat<br />
exchanger. Central controller for hot water only operates as a pressure drop<br />
is detected when a hot tap is opened. Safety against scalding by integrated<br />
HERZ-thermostatic mixing valve. Differential pressure controller with fi xed DP<br />
fi tted on the heating circuit can be operated as a zone valve with a thermo<br />
electric drive for regulating the room temperature. Heat meters can be retrofi<br />
tted as required. Strainer with fi ne-mesh screen is also fi tted on the heating<br />
circuit to protect the DP controller. Premounting unit with ball valves for the<br />
later connection of the substation. Usable as in- or onwall substation with<br />
separate cover. Necessary inwall adjustment unit or external cover have to<br />
be ordered separately. Static pressure of cold water 3.5 bar at minimum.<br />
Hot water fl ow rate 14 l/min (10/52 °C). Max. working pressure 10 bar. Max.<br />
riser temperature 90 °C. The HERZ premounting unit for the HERZ-DE LUXE<br />
substation 1 4008 04 has to be ordered separately.<br />

The HERZ DE LUXE light Substation<br />
Compact substation for radiator heating and drinking water systems.<br />
Individual module DE LUXE Light. Individual module for DHW, water and<br />
space heating. In standby mode a temperature regulated bypass guarantees<br />
available primary fl ow at the heat exchanger. Central controller for hot water<br />
only operates as a pressure drop is detected when a hot tap is opened.<br />
The module includes a HERZ-Control valve incorporating a thermostat with<br />
immersion sensor,which maintains a maximum DHW temperature, a strainer<br />
with fi ne mesh is also fi tted. It also provides adapters for installation of<br />
fl owmeter, water- and heat meters. Individual module HERZ DE LUXE Light<br />
can be combined with the following sets of equipment:<br />
