This event will focus on the get-together of choirs from all parts of the world, on mutual performances at the hot spots of the city and its surroundings as well as exciting choir competitions in ten different categories. Participating choirs will perform at fetching venues, like the city’s churches, the famous Kurhaus Bad Krozingen and the beautiful Kurpark. Outdoor stages will be a recreative place for Friendship Concerts.

11Dear Friends of Choral Music,The first INTERKULTUR event in the year <strong>2015</strong>will lead us to the beautiful and yet charminglytranquil city of <strong>Bad</strong> <strong>Krozingen</strong> in Germany. It isthe first competition of its kind to be organizedby INTERKULTUR in the Breisgau region locatedin the southwest of Germany.We are delighted to welcome you to this attractivecompetition and wish good luck and successto all the participants from Russia, Slovenia,Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany, aswell as a most enjoyable time at the numerousother events taking place – be it the SingingTogether led by conductors of international renown,or be it the Friendship Concerts stagedat the Kurhaus <strong>Bad</strong> <strong>Krozingen</strong>, one of the mostattractive sites of this wonderful city.This event also marks the starting point forthe other nine major events to follow in Europeand Asia in the course of this year. At thistime, we are putting very much of our heartsinto preparing the 2 nd European Choir Gamesand the Grand Prix of Nations, two of the topevents in Magdeburg (Germany) scheduled forJuly. Moreover and in addition to our otherwell-known events, we are going to offer twonew competitions in Greece (Kalamata) andItaly (Torre del Lago Puccini). And, what is more,we have already begun the intensive preparationactivities in connection with the 9 th WorldChoir Games, the biggest choir competition ofthe world, which will take place in Sochi (Russia)in July 2016.For the moment, however, let me wish youonce again a most agreeable time at the <strong>Bad</strong><strong>Krozingen</strong> International Choir Competition &Festival and good luck and success to all participants.At the same time, I would like to expressmy sincere gratitude to the co-organising”Kur und Bäder GmbH <strong>Bad</strong> <strong>Krozingen</strong>“ for theirvaluable support.
