Still barging round Trumanʹs ear ‐

Now with the Allies distinctly divided
How cautiously was their converse guided.
With Poland diffʹrently shaded,
The time for frankness come,
Truman traded glances & said,
ʺWe have forged a new bomb,
Intended to smite low Japan,ʺ fresh devils beat the drum.
