The <strong>National</strong> satellite communication <strong>and</strong> broadcast project team in <strong>the</strong><br />

Republic <strong>of</strong> Belarus would like to inform you about our Project under which we<br />

are planning to construct <strong>and</strong> launch Belarusian communication satellite<br />

Belintersat-1in <strong>the</strong> second half <strong>of</strong> year 2015 in 51.5 e.l. orbit position <strong>and</strong> construct<br />

<strong>the</strong> Ground control center in Belarus.<br />

Our Project considers wide range <strong>of</strong> services including <strong>the</strong> satellite<br />

communications channels' leasing. Regarding technical specifications <strong>of</strong><br />

The <strong>National</strong> <strong>Satellite</strong> <strong>Communication</strong> <strong>and</strong> Broadcast System in <strong>the</strong> Republic <strong>of</strong> Belarus<br />

INFORMATION<br />

on realization <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>National</strong> system <strong>of</strong> satellite communication <strong>and</strong><br />

broadcast project in <strong>the</strong> Republic <strong>of</strong> Belarus<br />

The <strong>National</strong> system <strong>of</strong> satellite communication <strong>and</strong> broadcast in <strong>the</strong><br />

Republic <strong>of</strong> Belarus shall be established on <strong>the</strong> basis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> own Belintersatl<strong>Communication</strong><br />

satellite. Under <strong>the</strong> project we shall establish <strong>the</strong> Ground<br />

control center located in Stankovo i.l., Dzerzhinsk region, <strong>the</strong> Republic <strong>of</strong><br />

Belarus.<br />

The satellite's launch is set in <strong>the</strong> second half <strong>of</strong> year 2015 from Sinchan<br />

launch site.<br />

The satellite's life circle is 15 years.<br />

The satellite is to take 51.5° e.l. orbit position <strong>and</strong> shall provide a wide<br />

range <strong>of</strong> services in Europe, Africa, Asia <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r coverage areas. The satellite<br />

is based on <strong>the</strong> advanced powerful platform <strong>and</strong> carries transponders operating<br />

in С- <strong>and</strong> Ku-b<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

For today we accomplished a range <strong>of</strong> items:<br />

• We signed <strong>the</strong> Delivery Agreement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>National</strong> satellite<br />

communication <strong>and</strong> broadcast system in <strong>the</strong> Republic <strong>of</strong> Belarus<br />

between <strong>the</strong> "Precise electro-mechanics factory" RPUE (<strong>the</strong><br />

Customer) <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> CGWIC company (<strong>the</strong> Contractor);<br />

• We draw funds for <strong>the</strong> Project realization (we signed a<br />

corresponding Agreement);<br />

• We have a team <strong>of</strong> managers;<br />

• Construction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ground Control Center is set on <strong>the</strong> first half <strong>of</strong><br />

year 2013.<br />

The "Precise electro-mechanics factory" RPUE is in charge <strong>of</strong> realization <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>National</strong> satellite communication <strong>and</strong> broadcast system project in <strong>the</strong> Republic<br />

<strong>of</strong> Belarus.<br />

Under <strong>the</strong> Project <strong>the</strong> "Precise electro-mechanics factory" RPUE implements<br />

<strong>the</strong> following functions:

• <strong>Satellite</strong> operator (Belintersat communication satellite operation <strong>and</strong><br />

services);<br />

• Provider <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> satellite telecommunication <strong>and</strong> geoinformational services<br />

(communication channels, tele-radio broadcast <strong>and</strong> broadb<strong>and</strong> access);<br />

• Integrator <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> satellite telecommunication <strong>and</strong> geoinformational<br />

systems (design <strong>and</strong> deployment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> satellite <strong>and</strong> TV networks,<br />

aerospace monitoring).<br />

Taking into consideration orbit-frequency resource specifications <strong>of</strong><br />

satellite networks in 51.5° l.e. orbit position, power <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> selected satellite<br />

platform, market <strong>and</strong> customers' requirements <strong>and</strong> existing limits on <strong>the</strong><br />

coverage areas' coordination, <strong>the</strong> satellite shall carry 38 transponders (receivertransmitters);<br />

34 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m are 36 MHz-wide-b<strong>and</strong>-transponders <strong>and</strong> 4 are 56<br />

MHz-wide-b<strong>and</strong>-transponders transponders.<br />
