ATTEST: _____________________________________ TOWNSHIP R-10:09-272 RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF GLOUCESTER, COUNTY OF CAMDEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY APPOINTING CONNER STRONG INSURANCE AS BROKER OF RECORD - GENERAL LIABILITY - PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE WHEREAS, over the past three years Conner Strong Insurance has secured various quotes for General Liability - Property and Casualty Insurance for the Township of Gloucester. In each case, Conner Strong Insurance has secured the lowest responsible quote and subsequently the Township Council has awarded the insurance based on these quotes, and WHEREAS, Conner Strong Insurance has committed themselves in the future to obtain multiple proposals and the best possible quote for said insurance and as such Township Council desires to appoint Conner Strong Insurance as Broker of Record for General Liability - Property and Casualty for a three year period from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013 Adopted: September 13, 2010 ATTEST: ____________________________ TOWNSHIP CLERK, RMC ____________________________ PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL R-10:09-273 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AN EMERGENCY SITUATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF STATION AVENUE, WOODLAND AVENUE AND RIDGE AVENUE WHEREAS, the storm water inlet at the intersection of Station Avenue, Woodland Avenue and Ridge Ave is causing a serious drainage situation, and WHEREAS, the Business Administrator was provided factual information from the Department of Public Works and the Township Drainage Engineer supporting the emergent situation and the need for immediate repairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester confirms declaration of an emergency situation for the above named intersection requiring immediate engineering and survey services. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Township Council confirm the directing of a contract to Consulting Engineering Services without a certificate of availability of funds in the amount of $10,200.00, pending Bond Ordinance amendment due to the emergency nature of the repairs.
