40 officials of the State Border Guard improved their qualification regarding the best
practices of the EU Member States in identification and interviewing of asylum seekers,
drawing up of reception documents, and familiarised the best practices in operation of asylum
seekers’ centres. 162
In 2010, within the framework of the EU training programmes in the field of asylum,
employees of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs programme "Assessment of
Evidences", within the framework of which employees related to the field of asylum were
offered an opportunity to gain practical skills – how to work, to acquire and assess objective
and subjective information related to the field of asylum, to assess the differences in culture,
gender and linguistic differences of a candidate in order to make a decision on provision of
international protection to the person. Employees of the Office of Citizenship and Migration
Affairs plan to acquire training courses offered by the European Union in the field of asylum
also in the future, for instance, preparation of information, decisions of countries of origin, as
the Dublin Regulation. 163
