Re:
M.S. Musical – Annie Junior.
We have hit the ground running on this year’s middle school musical! The
students are doing a great job and are very enthusiastic during our in-class
rehearsal time. Here is some information that you need to know:
• Regular after school rehearsals are on school days from November 9
through December 11. Rehearsals are from 3:30 – 5:30 after
school, with the exception of Tuesdays (2:30 – 4:30). Please be
prompt for pick-up as both directors have family responsibilities and
our own children to pick up after rehearsal.
• During Thanksgiving week, we will have after school rehearsal on
November 23 only. We will not rehearse November 24 – 29.
• Tech week rehearsals are on December 14, 15, and 16 and will be
from end of school until 7:00 p.m. Attendance during Tech Week is
mandatory. These rehearsals will be at Transylvania University’s
Carrick Theater in the Mitchell Fine Arts Center. We will walk to
Transy together at the end of the day. You should plan on picking
up your child at the theater at 7:00 p.m. on those evenings.
• The performance dates are December 17 and 18. The December 17
performance will be at 7:00 p.m. at Transylvania University’s
Carrick Theater for families and friends of our cast. Students need to
be at Carrick Theater at 5:00 p.m. on 12/17. The December 18
performances will happen during the school day and will be part of
our commitment to community outreach. These three performances
will be for elementary and middle school students; however, if you
would like to come to one of these performances, just let us know.
• We will give a sneak preview performance of one song at the
Grandparents’/Special Persons’ Day program on November 24 at
9:30 a.m. The song to be performed will be announced later.

• Parents will provide after-school snacks and drinks; snack day
assignments are enclosed. If you are not available to bring the snack
on the specified day, please arrange to switch days with another
parent. Please bring snacks only from the approved snack list,
which is enclosed. We prefer that you bring water for drinks.
Please plan for 35 snacks. Of course, all snacks must be nut-free.
• Please review the attached form for ways you can get involved in our
show. Please fill out the attached form and turn it in by Wednesday,
September 30.
We need all scheduled cast members in attendance at rehearsal. We
understand that this requires a great deal of sacrifice for many students,
but it is essential for the success of the show. Please call or email one of us
