SummerProgramsSafari Day Camp and the Splash Campsare two different kinds of programs that yourchild or children are welcome to attend.Safari Day CampJune 4 th – August 10 th (closed Wed. July4 th ), 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Ages 3 – 11.Teachers in the Safari program remainconsistent throughout the summer. Thethemes and activities vary from week toweek, and there is no repetition of the materialcovered. Safari may be enjoyed forone week or any number of weeks. Campersmay arrive and depart at any time, butplease note that field trips are from 9:00 to12:00 (to 1:00, if lunch is eaten out).Safari is a state-licensed program with amaximum of 10 campers for each teacher.The $145.00 fee for the week includeslunch, admissions, snack, transportationfor field trips, and extended care. There is anon-refundable registration fee of $75.00.Safari is filled on a first-come, first-servedbasis. You will be mailed a confirmationletter and an invitation to the Safari OpenHouse upon acceptance to the programfor the weeks requested.Splash CampsOffered various weeks June 4 th – August10 th (closed the week of July 4 th ), 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Various ages. Splash Camps areconducted by experienced teachers with awealth of knowledge in their subject area.Each camp is unique in content, weekoffered, and desired age of participants.Splash Camps may be enjoyed by themselvesor in combination with the Safariprogram. Splash Camps are $99.00 foreach week and include materials exceptwhere specified. Safari participants maypartake of the Splash Camps for only$30.00 more per week.Fees are due at the time of registrationand will only be refunded with documentedillness. SafariDayCampsDaily ProgramBig and Little Safari Campers do not mix witheach other at any time, but they do share weeklythemes. Weekly themes serve as an importantfocus of Sayre Safari Day Camp. Themes helpcreate an exciting environment for campers. Fieldtrips, special guests, and surprise activities bringthe themes to life. Instructors plan the day between9:00 and 4:00. The time between 7:30-9:00 and4:00-6:00 is snack and free play. Families may mixthe Safari Camps with other Sayre School SplashCamps, which are offered in the afternoon. SayreCamp staff will supervise children to and from theSplash Camps and Safari Camp.June 4-8, June11-15From the Farm to the TableSafari Campers will experience the wonder andexcitement of baby animals and sprouting seedsby exploring farm life. Then campers will get aclose up look at food processing. GeneralInfo● Safari campers must be signed in andout with their designated teachers in theJohnson McCoy Building (see map).No camper will be allowed to leave withanyone not listed on the registrationform without documented instructionsfrom parent. Teachers will post theirlocation on the classroom door frame,if they are not in their rooms.● Splash Camp participants are to bewalked to the front circle (see map)off Limestone on the first day of camp.Pick-up and future drop-off locationswill be given by individual teachers.● Please record the date and time ofyour Sayre Summer Program choice.Children should be picked up promptly.A late fee of $5.00 per fifteen minuteswill be assessed if a child is left after6:00 pm.● Children may bring a lunch or snack toany Sayre Summer Program, but a hotlunch will be served to Safari campersfrom 12:00-12:30. GeneralInfoTuition Information● The tuition of $99.00 for each Splash Camp is due with registration.
