LA CIAP PLAN AMENDMENT
The Amendments to the Louisiana CIAP Plan submitted to FWS were
approved on March 1, 2012. The Approved State CIAP Plan and
Appendices have been posted on the CPRA website at www.lacpra.org.
Questions regarding CIAP can be submitted via email to CIAP@LA.Gov.
*POTENTIAL CIAP FUNDING REDUCTION*
The President’s Fiscal Year 2013 Budget Proposal includes a
$200M reduction to the unobligated CIAP funds of the eligible
States and their Coastal Political Subdivisions. If this reduction
is passed, then all un-awarded CIAP funds would be at risk of
being reduced or lost. In order to prevent a potential reduction
or loss All Parishes are strongly urged to submit grant
applications and amendments for all projects with a
balance of un-awarded CIAP funds ASAP!!
