All sizes refer to circular inlet and outlet connections.
Construction
Casings are manufactured from pre-galvanised sheet steel and are carefully designed to provide a strong
and rigid casing.
iFan inline twinfan units have circular inlet and outlet spigots with a double-lip neoprene seal minimising leakage.
The units are internally lined with acoustic grade rockwool with a facing to prevent the erosion of fibres.
iFan inline twinfan units incorporate an internal shutter arrangement to prevent recirculation through the
standby fan.
iFan inline twinfan and ICU1.5 are designed for duct mounting within the building.
Motors
The motor is mounted within the centrifugal impeller to form a compact unit, powered by a 220-240V/50Hz/1
phase motor, giving silent and virtually vibration free running, operating at temperatures of up to a maximum
of 40°C. All motors are manufactured in accordance with BS5000 and incorporate thermal overload protection,
they are maintenance free, with sealed for life bearings offering an expected life L10 of 40,000 hours.

Section 1 - Demand Control Ventilation
All units are speed controllable using the integral Fläkt Woods iFan Intelligent Control Unit (ICU1.5).
Servicing
The top panel of each unit allows easy access for inspection.
The fan assembly can also be easily removed for cleaning purposes.
Mounting
Suitable for both horizontal and vertical (air up) mounting only.
The units can be inverted if bottom access is required.
