PAN ADAPTORS & PLENUM BOXES
SIZES
Non-standard sizes. Codes 0103, 0134, 0136 & 0137.
We can manufacture almost any size up to1200mm
square. Please contact Head Office for details. The
product codes become 9103, 9134, 9136 & 9137
respectively.
DAMPER
Opposed blade damper. A clip on opposed blade
damper (code 0106) in mill finish aluminium can be
fitted to all eggcrates except codes 0133, 0136 and 0137.
A circular flap damper (code 0531) can be fitted to
code 0136. Non-incremental sises Code becomes 9106.
FIXINGS
Concealed fixings / sub-frames suitable for Codes
0103, 0134, 0136, 0137. (Fixing type OF3.) See
Fixing Methods section for details. Codes 0203 and 0206.
Clips (Code 0430) are available for locating the grille
in a clip type ceiling system (Fixing type 0F4) or Clips
(Code 0432) for a tegular type ceiling system (Fixing
type 0F5). These clips will fit ceiling systems such as
Burgess, Armstrong, CAPL or others. Please specify
the type and make of ceiling. See page 15 For details.
Un-punched borders on codes 0103, 0134, 0136 and
0137. Codes have a prefix 9 instead of 0.
(Fixing type OF2.)
FINISHES
Any BS, RAL or NCS colour. Code 0145. Please
specify colour reference. We suggest powder coating
on top of anodising for swimming pool applications.
(Un-insulated)
Top entry pan adaptor without flange (120mm high). Code 0323.
Top entry pan adaptor without flange (17mm high). Code 0338.
This height of pan should only be used where the spigot diameter
plus 50 is equal to or more than the smallest nominal dimension of
the pan.
Top entry pan adaptor with flange (120mm high). Code 0328.
Side entry plenum box without flange. Code 0335.
Side entry plenum box with flange. Code 0324.

Pan adaptors and plenum boxes can be fitted with quadrant
dampers in the spigot for either manual (Code 0483) or cord
operated control. (Code 0484)
We can also design boxes with non-standard heights where there is
limited space above a ceiling or in the cavity.

ORDERING DETAILS
• The code for the grille should always have 13 digits.
See page 1.
• Please always give length first, then height unless circular.
If circular the nominal diameter should be the last 4 digits
with zero’s for the length.
• Add codes for additions / alternatives as suffixes.
EXAMPLE:
A standard flanged eggcrate grille for sidewall mounting,
nominal size 300mm x 200mm, with an opposed blade
damper and painted RAL 9010 satin would be coded:-
0103/00300/0200+0106+0145-RAL 9010 satin + OF1

SAFETY WIRES
Available for removeable core grilles. They link the
core to the frame, until released, in order to minimise
accidents. Minimum 2 per grille. Code 0379.
