DIFFUSERS-<strong>Circular</strong> <strong>Ceiling</strong>CIRCULAR CEILINGDIFFUSERSThe range of circular ceiling diffusers are designed for heatingand cooling applications in spaces where the mounting heightdoes not exceed 3 metres. However, it is recommended thatthe core position is adjusted on change over from the heatingcycle to the cooling cycle and vice versa if they are used in afree space application without coanda effect. Consequently,Code 0530, which have a fixed core, should only be used oncooling applications if they are used on exposed ductwork.STANDARD •Code 0530. Multi cone, fixed one position core, circulardiffuser. Requires a mounting bridge if it is to be fixed in anon de-mountable, i.e. plaster ceiling and/or it is to befitted with a damper.Code 0545. Multi cone, removable two position core,circular diffuser.Code 0130. Multi cone, removable fully adjustable core,circular diffuser.STANDARD SPECIFICATIONSIZESThe nominal neck diameters are shown below:-Code 0530. 160, 200, 250, 315, 355 and 400mm.Code 0545. 100, 160, 200, 250, 315, 355, 400, 450,500 and 630mm.Code 0130. 152, 203, 254, 305, 381, 457 and534mm.CONSTRUCTIONAluminium spinnings supported on steel brackets.The centre cone of the Code 0130 is spun in brass foradditional strength.FIXINGCodes 0545 and 0130 through the neck of the diffuserinto the duct. Code 0530 using a mounting bridgewhich is fixed in the neck of the duct and a boltthrough the centre of the diffuser into a captive nut onthe bridge.FINISHINGCode 0530 and 0545 diffusers are satin anodised AA5.Code 0130 diffusers are powder coated metallic silver(suffix S) or white to RAL 9010 satin (suffix W).PACKAGINGEach diffuser is individually boxed in a corrugatedcardboard box with crush proof ends.TECHNICAL INFORMATIONSee pages 60 - 63OPTIONAL ALTERNATIVES/ADDITIONSFINISHESAny BS, RAL or NCS colour. Code 0145. Please specify colourreference. We suggest powder coating on top of anodising forswimming pool applications. However, this is not possible on theCode 0130 diffuser because the brass centre cone cannot beanodised.OPTIONAL ALTERNATIVES/ADDITIONSFLAP DAMPERSFlap or butterfly dampers, Codes 0531, 0141 & 0649 are availablefor use with these diffusers. Care should be taken to make sure thatthe type of damper selected is compatible with the diffuser.
