Dozens of matches were made and families were formed at the annual 36-Hour Holiday Adopt-a-Thon, held December 6-7 at
PAWS Chicago’s Lincoln Park Adoption Center. The adoption marathon ran for 36 hours straight beginning at 11 a.m., December
6 and ending at 11 p.m. December 7. During those 36 hours more than 120 animals were adopted. The event also helped to raise
awareness about the importance of adoption and save the lives of Chicago’s homeless pets.
