TOGETHER IN FAITH<br />

<strong>October</strong> <strong>2011</strong> – Mission Month<br />

<strong>October</strong> is Mission Month, a time when Catholics<br />

are asked to remember the Missions &<br />

Missionaries. At present 1,762 Irish Missionaries<br />

are serving in 84 countries. The Society <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Propagation <strong>of</strong> the Faith looks after the<br />

missionary work <strong>of</strong> the church and encourages us<br />

to <strong>of</strong>fer the young churches our prayers &<br />

support. More than €2.2 million was given to the<br />

Mission <strong>Sunday</strong> Collection last year. The<br />

Pontifical Mission Society <strong>of</strong>fers an enormous<br />

THANK YOU for your generosity.<br />

Mission <strong>Sunday</strong> is on 23 rd <strong>October</strong>, <strong>2011</strong>.<br />

THE DELANY ARCHIVE<br />

The Delany Archive cares for the archives <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Diocese <strong>of</strong> Kildare & Leighlin, Brigidine Sisters,<br />

Patrician Brothers and Carlow College.<br />

Donations are welcome from persons and<br />

organizations associated with the Delany Archive<br />

partners, for example, priests and members <strong>of</strong><br />

religious congregations, parishes, schools and<br />

Michael English will be performing in St. Peter &<br />

Paul’s on Fri.14 th Oct. at 8pm. Proceeds raised<br />

will go towards St. Peter & Paul’s Church and the<br />
